I'm not a huge fan of featuring deals on mainstream games here, however it can also be good to have some of these types of games around, as they are easy for kids to learn - and a love of board games in youth may translate into a love of some good strategy games (think Twilight Struggle, Puerto Rico, etc) in the teenage and adult years.

These games also have some educational value as they deal with some real-world concepts:

Sorry - reacting to unexpected failure or disaster (SORRY!)

Monopoly - real estate, investing

Scrabble - build vocabulary, spelling and word skills

Connect 4 - learn to plan ahead and think strategically

Sure, none of these games are as deep as Die Macher, but they will provide a good time and good learning for the younger generation.  Oh, and did I mention they are cheap too!
